This is the same size iron tip that comes with our new pink irons.  Iron tips should last 6 months to a year depending on how much they are used and abused!   The signs of a worn out tip is if there is a hole or divot in the iron tip surface or the end just wears off. These super plated tips work wonderful and will last a long time (as long as you treat them right!)

If your iron tip is blackened and not melting the solder well, it may just need to be cleaned.  Look at our trouble with tips tutorial under the tutorial tab to see how to clean up your iron tip and get it working again.  

• Iron tips are not usually interchangeable.  Always use a Simply Swank iron tip with our irons for best performance.
